In order to use the Membiz Voice Chat all you need are a regular
microphone and speakers correctly connected to your system.
- Click once on an OnLine Membee or on
a product, then choose the Voice Chat option. - The Voice Chat tool enables speaking with an
OnLine Membee.
Simply click and hold the button on the right and speak.
Release the button when you're done. - As soon as you release the button, the receiver will hear your
voice in his/her speakers, and the same Voice Chat window
will appear on his/her screen, indicating a Voice Chat is taking place. - You can hear your chat partner as long as the Voice Chat window
is open. - The Test button enables you to check whether your audio system
functions correctly. If you cannot hear your own voice through the
speakers - check the microphone's and speakers' connections. - Important:
the master audio settings of your computer should be
in the correct mode:
Right-click the Volume Control Icon on your desktop and select
the top option as shown above.
In the 'Master Out' window, select Options--Properties--Recording
and the 'Master Record' window will appear:
If the Mic's Mute checkbox is selected, click to uncheck it,
as shown above. Finally, close the 'Master Record' window.
